Your Order Has Arrived

The new husband, drawn by the commotion, joined his wife at the door, his brows furrowed in confusion.
As the wife recounted the strange encounter, her husband’s eyes narrowed, searching for any semblance of recognition in the woman’s features.
She was going to break the door down if she could. But it wasn’t until she mentioned him by name that a flicker of recognition sparked in his mind. Was she out to get him?
Dinner At Home

Sarah and Harry had settled into a cozy evening at home in Bush Grove California, opting for a quiet night in, over the hustle and bustle of a restaurant.
As they scrolled through the delivery app, their stomachs growled in anticipation of the feast they were about to indulge in.
After much deliberation, they settled on their favorite Thai place and eagerly placed their order. They had no clue how interesting their order was going to be.
A Delayed Order

Minutes turned into what felt like hours as they waited for the food to arrive. Finally, the familiar buzz of the doorbell echoed through their home, signaling the arrival of their dinner.
30-year-old Sarah swiftly made her way to the door, peering through the peephole before unlatching the lock.
Through the Ring camera, Sarah’s voice rang out clear, “Just leave it at the door, thank you. We’ll be out to grab it soon,” she said with a polite smile, assuming it was just another routine delivery.
A Strange Driver

Little did she know, this wasn’t any ordinary delivery driver. It was a special delivery.
The woman on the other side of the camera hesitated, her eyes darting nervously as she spoke, “I really need to use the bathroom. Please, just a moment inside.”
Sarah’s heart skipped a beat at the unexpected request. Her instincts screamed caution, but she brushed it off, shaking her head politely. “I’m sorry, but no. Please, just leave the food and we’ll be out shortly.”
An Odd Request

Sarah’s heart pounded as she watched the woman’s face through the camera. Her voice, though polite, carried a hint of urgency that sent chills down Sarah’s spine.
Sarah repeated herself. “Just leave it at the door, thank you. We’ll be out to grab it soon,” Sarah managed, trying to hide her unease.
But the woman persisted. “I really need to use your bathroom,” she pleaded, her eyes darting nervously. It was a strange request from a food delivery person at 9 PM at night.
Yes Or No

Sarah hesitated, her mind racing. This wasn’t normal behavior for a delivery driver. “I’m sorry, but we can’t let you in,” she replied, her voice trembling slightly.
The delivery woman was almost rude, “Do you want me to make it in my pants?” she said snootily.
The woman’s demeanor shifted, her tone growing more insistent. “Call your husband,” she demanded. “He’ll let me in.” Sarah had no idea how this strange woman knew her husband.
Asking Permission

The woman’s demeanor shifted, her tone turning more insistent. “Call your husband, he’ll let me in,” she said, her words carrying an edge of urgency.
Sarah stood at the other side of the door, watching her through the video. She was a short girl, her hair was untidy and she didn’t look like her husband’s type at all.
So, what was her relationship with him? Was this some trick to get inside her house? Had she been inside her house before?
Knock Knock

34-year-old Harry, who had been lounging on the couch, approached the door, his brows furrowed in confusion. “What’s going on, Sarah?” he asked, his voice tinged with concern.
Sarah glanced at the door, her heart sinking. What if the woman was telling the truth? What if Harry did know her?
She didn’t trust her husband at that moment and felt like she was caught in some love triangle. Harry’s voice came through loud and clear, filled with confusion. “Who is it?” he asked.
Who’s There

Sarah swallowed hard, trying to steady her voice. “There’s a delivery driver here,” she explained, casting a wary glance at the woman outside. “She says she knows you.”
The annoyed husband peered out the window, “Is that our food?” Sarah nodded solemnly. He stared for a few more seconds.
Harry’s silence spoke volumes. “I’ve never seen her before in my life,” he finally said, his voice tight with concern. But Sarah already had her suspicions about him.
Come And See

Sarah glanced at him, uncertainty clouding her features. “This lady wants to come in to use the bathroom. I don’t know, Harry, something feels off,” she admitted in a hushed tone.
The woman outside was still holding their packet of food in her hand. She was hopping from one leg to another in desperation.
Harry’s eyes flickered between Sarah and the woman on the screen, his mind racing with possibilities. “I don’t think that’s a good idea. Maybe we should just—” Before he could finish his sentence, the woman interrupted, her tone bordering on desperation. “Please, I just need a minute. It’s urgent.”
You Talk To Her

Harry didn’t want to confront her because he didn’t want to offend her and thought that it may be women’s issues.
He urged Sarah to chase her away, “Just tell her that you’re going to complain to her boss if she doesn’t leave the food and go,” he suggested.
Sarah agreed and tried to talk some sense into the erratic delivery woman. But she was purposefully annoying and refused to leave their food order down on the porch.
A Big Order

A tense silence settled over the room as Sarah and Harry exchanged a hesitant glance.
Their order had come to $86. They watched the girl juggle their supper like it was a toy. They lost their appetite thinking about their Pad Thai getting thrown around in the mix.
Something about the situation didn’t sit right with either of them, but they couldn’t quite put their finger on it. They had no idea what the delinquent delivery woman was going to do next.
Being A Pest

It was almost 21:30 PM and the deliverywoman was still standing on their porch. Harry was getting angry and wanted to go outside and push her off.
But Sarah stopped him, “Don’t get physical, we don’t know what she could do to us,” she begged him.
At this point, the deliverywoman was knocking on the door. Finally, Harry spoke up, his voice firm but compassionate. “I’m sorry, but we can’t let you in. Please understand.” Would she just do her job and go?
Not Professional Behavior

Harry started getting excited. He wanted to have his dinner and was annoyed that this was happening. Sarah noticed the anger on his face.
It was a battle between his stomach and helping a stranger. But he didn’t feel comfortable letting a service delivery person use his personal bathroom.
Sarah’s stomach churned with fear. If Harry didn’t know her, then who was she? And why was she so desperate to get inside?
A Daring Delivery

The delivery woman kept banging on the door, “Come on I’ve got your package, don’t you want it?” she tried to persuade Sarah
“I’m sorry, but we can’t let you in,” Sarah repeated, her voice wavering. “Please, just leave the food and go.”
But the woman shook her head, her desperation growing by the second. “I can’t,” she insisted. “I need to use your bathroom. I can’t wait any longer.” They had no idea how bad the situation was going to get.
Danger At Her Door

Sarah was afraid that there was something happening between the woman and her husband. But everything was happening so fast.
Harry’s voice crackled; his tone urgent. “Sarah, don’t let her in. Something’s not right.” He peered through the window again.
Sarah felt a surge of panic grip her chest. What if the woman was dangerous? What if they were in danger? At that moment, she didn’t know who to trust and she knew something bad was about to happen.
Just This Once

Sarah peered through the peephole, her heart pounding with a mix of confusion and unease. The woman didn’t want to go.
Outside stood the woman, her face strained, and her eyes darting nervously. “Please, I really need to use your bathroom,” the woman pleaded, her voice trembling.
Sarah pressed the voice intercom, “You’re a stranger, I don’t know you at all, why would I let you into my private space?” The delivery woman’s answer was shocking.
Listen To Me

The strange deliverywoman scowled at the camera, “Because I have your food, which is getting colder the longer you let me wait,” she barked at them.
Sarah hesitated, exchanging a bewildered glance with Harry, who had joined her by the door. He couldn’t get through to the restaurant.
“I’m sorry, but we can’t let you in,” Sarah replied firmly, her hand gripping the doorknob tighter. But she didn’t realize what a big mistake she was making.
Do Your Job

Harry started getting aggressive with her. He threatened to call her boss if she didn’t follow the rules. “I think he’ll fire you on the spot,” he said.
But the woman was adamant, “I don’t care, and I don’t think my boss will either,” she shouted back.
The woman’s desperation seemed to escalate. “Please, I can’t wait much longer. Just a few minutes, I promise,” she begged, her words urgent. Was Harry going to budge?
Give And Take

Sarah was starting to get annoyed, “What if the neighbors are watching Harry? Let’s just let her in, come on,” she suggested.
The angry husband couldn’t believe how naïve his wife was being. Just moments ago, she was scared, and now she wanted to invite that stranger into their home.
Harry’s brow furrowed in concern as he took Sarah’s hand. “We don’t know you. It’s not safe,” he called out, his voice firm but laced with apprehension. Was she ever going to leave?
I’m Only Human

The woman’s eyes widened, and a tremor of frustration passed over her face. “But I’m just a delivery driver. You spoke to me through the camera. Please, I’ll leave as soon as I’m done,” she insisted, her voice tinged with desperation.
She came up with every excuse in the book to get herself into the house, but Harry was adamant against it.
At this point, Sarah cursed the online delivery system and wished that she had rather cooked dinner at home. The standard of service delivery was increasingly dropping.
I Won’t Bite

The delivery woman stared at the camera, “This package is getting heavy, I can’t stand here forever,” she complained.
Sarah’s mind raced, the situation feeling increasingly surreal. “We appreciate the delivery, but we can’t let you in. We’ll grab the food now, thank you,” she said, her tone faltering slightly.
But no matter how nice or persuasive Sarah was, she wouldn’t leave the parcel down. It was as though she was playing a game with them. Testing their patience and their kindness.
Bizarre Bathroom Request

The woman’s gaze flickered between them, her expression a mix of pleading and frustration. She held the back of her jeans.
Sarah could see her food leaking from the containers inside the packet. “Please, you don’t understand. I can’t leave until…” she trailed off, her words punctuated by a sudden wince.
She pointed to her behind, “If you don’t let me in now, there is going to be another huge package on your doorstep,” she said nervously. She was being pushy.
A Desperate Driver

Harry exchanged a worried glance with Sarah before speaking, his voice tinged with concern. “I think she needs help,” he said.
He made a crazy sign next to his head. “Do you think she’s mentally unstable? Maybe she needs proper medical assistance?” he said.
Harry directed his question to the strange deliverywoman, “Are you okay? Do you need medical help?” he asked, his hand hovering over his phone. He was making a mistake by getting too friendly with her.
A Toilet Terror

The woman shook her head frantically, a sheen of sweat glistening on her forehead. “No, no, I just need…” Her words dissolved into a pained gasp, and she doubled over slightly, clutching her stomach.
Harry was scared that she was going to pass out on the front porch. His eyes widened in fear as he watched the strange woman.
Just then, the strangest thing happened: the deliverywoman couldn’t control herself and passed gas. Her face scrunched up as she tried to control her bowel movements.
A Weird Woman

The poor couple didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. This was hands down the worst delivery experience they ever had.
The girl let the packet drop slightly, “You don’t understand, I can’t move, it is going to come out,” she pleaded with them.
Sarah’s heart clenched with empathy, but fear still gripped her tightly. “I’m sorry, but we can’t take that risk. Please understand,” she said, her voice tinged with regret. But she had no idea what was about to happen next.
Get Off My Porch

The woman straightened; desperation etched into every line of her face. “I can’t leave without using your bathroom. Please, I’m begging you,” she pleaded, her voice cracking with strain.
Harry waved his cell phone in the air, “I’m on the phone with your manager, and he says he wants you back at the shop now,” he lied. He still couldn’t reach the restaurant.
The deliverywoman called him out, “I know you’re lying, my boss never answers his cell phone,” she laughed suddenly and let out another bubble of gas. Sarah knew that the deliverywoman had no remorse.
Being Persistent

The tension simmered in the air like a kettle about to whistle as Sarah and Harry stood at their front door, facing an unexpected dilemma.
The woman on the other side of the Ring camera had thrown a curveball into their evening routine with her insistence on entering their home.
Sarah’s voice, steady but firm, conveyed their refusal, but the woman persisted, her urgency adamant even through the intercom. The couple didn’t know how to get rid of her.
A Paid Order

Harry had given up and sat down to rethink his strategy. Sarah kept trying to convince the deliverywoman just to do her job and go.
“Just leave it at the door, thank you. We’ll be out to grab it soon,” Sarah repeated, her patience thinning with each passing moment.
Yet, the woman’s request for access to their bathroom hung in the air like a dense fog, refusing to dissipate. She spoke as though she was entitled to use it. The couple didn’t know what to expect next.
Ignoring Her

Sarah had enough. She wasn’t going to let the strange woman ruin her entire evening. She felt creeped out and wanted to be left alone.
“Come on, honey. Just ignore her, and she will leave eventually,” she said to Harry and took his arm, leading him away from the door.
She just hoped the woman would leave eventually and let them get their food. They even lost their appetite, and just wanted her to leave.
Ignoring Her

Sarah and Harry sat on the couch, trying to watch the rest of their show, while the woman shouted through the door, asking for their help.
“Please. Give me ten minutes, and I will be out of your hair!” he continued to shout through the door. It was impossible to focus on their show.
“Just give it a few minutes. I’m sure she’ll leave eventually,” Sarah reassured her anxious husband. He actually had his phone in hand, ready to call the cops.
Time Passed

The sounds continued for over fifteen minutes. The woman was still on the other side of the door, begging to be let in.
Her yelling had turned to whining and then crying. “Please, I will do anything. Just let me in,” she cried through the door.
Harry wanted nothing more than to open the door just to get the woman to be quiet. But Sarah wouldn’t allow her in. She questioned Harry’s whereabouts.
Silence

Sarah remained patient. She was certain that the woman would eventually get the message and return to where she had come from.
But the cries continued for well over half an hour. Sarah was getting fed up. But as she was about to return to the door and yell at the woman, she noticed something.
Suddenly, there was complete silence outside. She peered out the window and saw that the woman was walking around the house.
Checking The Door

When the sounds didn’t return for a few minutes, she decided to get up and check on the front door. Harry stayed seated on the couch.
Sarah looked at the camera, and to her surprise, the woman was no longer standing on the front porch. But there was one problem.
She hadn’t left the food on the front porch either. What on earth was going on? Sarah didn’t feel safe in her own home anymore.
She Was Going To Try

Flustered, she took a seat beside her husband with a huff. “She’s gone, but she didn’t leave the food,” she grumbled.
“I’m going to try and call the place again. If they don’t answer, I will drive out there and confront them,” she said.
Sarah went to dial their number, but as she did, she suddenly heard a strange noise from right outside. Somebody was trying to open the window.
The Sound

Sarah and Harry both froze in place as the sound echoed through their house. It was a sound from outside, but it wasn’t coming from the front door.
Instead, they could hear it through the window right behind where they were sitting. It was the sound of footsteps walking through leaves.
Sarah sat frozen as Harry slowly turned to look behind them, but as he did, a gasp echoed through their living room. There was a sunken face staring back at him.
A Terrifying Discovery

“Honey?” Sarah said, her voice barely above a whisper as she spotted the fear behind his eyes. He was staring at the window behind her.
“What’s going on?” she asked, too afraid to move. The situation with the strange woman had creeped her out.
Harry swallowed loudly before meeting her eyes. “She didn’t leave. She’s staring at us through the back window,” he said. She could see them face to face.
Staring At Them

Sarah’s hands shook as her phone fell to her lap. She slowly turned around, spotting the woman standing right by their back window.
She had walked into their backyard with the food in hand. She was staring at them, waiting for them to answer the door.
Sarah let out a scream the second she spotted the woman staring at her. Suddenly she started tapping profusely on the glass, trying to get their attention.
The Front Door

“Please, I just need you to open the door for me,” the woman asked, her eyes wide and deranged. Sarah didn’t trust her.
What did she want from them? Sarah had to get the strange woman out of their backyard. The woman watched as Sarah walked toward the front door.
She quickly pushed herself away from the window and ran back around toward the front door, hoping to be let in. But she had no idea who she was dealing with.
Blood Boiling

“What do you think you’re doing going into our backyard?” Sarah asked through the door, her blood boiling at that point.
“I told you; I just need to use your bathroom. I won’t be any longer than ten minutes,” she said. But Sarah was confused.
She had been outside of their door for nearly an hour. The couple started to realize that something worse was at play.
He Knows Me

“Look, your husband knows me. Can you just ask him to open the door,” the woman huffed on the other side of the door.
But that only creeped Sarah out even more. How could her husband possibly know this woman? Was she mistaken?
“Harry,” Sarah called his name, hoping he could have some kind of explanation for what was going on. How did this strange woman know her husband?
Who Is She?

Harry walked toward the door, clearly beyond angry by what was going on. But then, he noticed the expression on his wife’s face.
She no longer seemed angry, annoyed, or scared. She seemed confused and lost in her thoughts. “What’s going on?” he asked.
“This woman says you know her and that you will let her in,” Sarah said, clearly suspicious about what was going on. Was Harry hiding something from Sarah?
No Idea

She couldn’t help but feel like she was being left in the dark. Was her husband hiding something from her?
“Honey, I have no idea who this woman is,” Harry sighed to himself, rubbing at his tired eyes. He just wanted it to be over.
But Sarah didn’t know if she could believe him. For the first time, she questioned Harry’s loyalty to her. She felt insecure.
She Didn’t Believe Him

Harry rubbed at his red eyes. He had been hungry for hours and now, he was getting tired and irritated.
He could tell that his wife didn’t believe him, but what else could he do? As far as he was concerned, he was being honest.
All he wanted was to go to bed and forget about it. But he was about to make a discovery that would leave him shaken. The deliverywoman was not going anywhere.
Cheated Out Of Dinner

Harry was annoyed. He had missed his dinner time, and this whole ordeal was becoming out of control.
He peered closer at the woman’s face on the screen, his heart pounding a little louder with each passing second. Who was she?
And then it hit him like a ton of bricks crashing down upon him. He remembered her, vividly now, from a chance encounter at their favorite restaurant weeks ago.
A Flashback

Harry recalled meeting the strange woman a few months ago at the food court in the mall. His stomach churned uneasily as he realized the gravity of the situation.
This wasn’t just any delivery driver; this was the same woman who had been following them, leaving cryptic notes and lingering glances that sent shivers down their spines.
She was more than a mere stranger; she was a stalker, a presence that had infiltrated their lives with unsettling ease. But how did she manage to infiltrate their food order?
I Do Know Her

A cold sweat broke out on Harry’s forehead as the pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
He turned to Sarah, his voice low and urgent. “I remember her, Sarah. She’s the one from the restaurant, the one who…” His words trailed off, choked by the weight of their shared fear.
The worried husband reiterated their encounter at the food court in the mall a few months prior. “Do you remember? We complained to the manager that she messed up our order at the Steakhouse. She wanted a bigger tip.”
What They Did

Sarah’s eyes widened in alarm, mirroring his growing sense of dread. Finally, she remembered an old altercation at the mall, where a waitress was reprimanded for mixing up their order.
They exchanged a silent, knowing glance, their unspoken fears echoing between them like a haunting refrain. Could it be her?
At that moment, they realized the gravity of their predicament. They were trapped, caught in the web of a stranger’s obsession, with no easy escape in sight. She wanted payback.
The Other Waitress

The woman’s insistence grew more desperate with each passing second, her pleas bordering on frantic as she pressed for entry into their home.
But Sarah and Harry stood their ground, their resolve strengthened by the chilling realization of who stood on the other side of the door.
“We can’t let her in, Harry,” Sarah whispered, her voice trembling with fear. “We have to call the police. Now.” But Harry stopped her from dialing 911.
Food Gone Bad

As Sarah stood by the door, her voice firm but polite, Harry’s mind raced with confusion and unease.
He didn’t even want the food anymore; he just wanted her to leave. He couldn’t afford to get into any legal battles with her. It wasn’t worth it.
He peered through the peephole, seeing the woman’s anxious eyes darting around, her hand gripping the handle of the food bag tightly. It seemed like she enjoyed tormenting them.
A Polite Suggestion

Sarah tried to talk some sense into the girl, “Why don’t you go use a public bathroom?” But she said she couldn’t hold it and drive.
The couple didn’t believe her. “Sarah, something’s not right,” Harry whispered urgently, his heart pounding against his chest like a trapped bird.
“I know, Harry. This is bizarre,” Sarah replied, her voice tinged with apprehension. But they knew that she wasn’t going to leave anytime soon.
I’m Warning You

The woman’s demands grew more insistent, her tone bordering on desperation. “Dude, I’m going to do it right here, if you don’t open the door now,” he threatened.
Harry’s mind flashed back to a fleeting moment in the crowded restaurant, a figure lurking in the shadows, watching them with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine.
“Harry, are you going to tell her?” Sarah asked, her voice trembling with uncertainty. She didn’t trust her husband at that moment, it was his fault that she was there.
A Familiar Face

Harry’s throat felt dry as he struggled to form words. “I…I think I’ve seen her before. At the restaurant. She was…she was staring at us,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
Sarah told him to try and get a hold of the food court, but it was after hours so they were closed. He was running out of options.
Sarah’s eyes widened in alarm, her grip on the door tightening. “What does she want, Harry? Why won’t she just leave?” The worried woman was starting to hyperventilate, her life was at risk.
She Begs Him

The tension in the air was rife as the standoff continued. The woman’s refusal to leave the package down sent shivers down Sarah’s spine.
Harry, recognizing her from the restaurant, realized they were dealing with more than just a persistent delivery driver; she was a stalker, unhinged and unpredictable.
The woman’s voice pierced through the silence, her tone growing increasingly frantic. She told them that she had food poisoning and it was an emergency. But they didn’t believe her.
It’s Our Fault

Harry’s mind raced as he tried to make sense of the situation. The pieces of the puzzle began to click into place, forming a chilling picture of obsession and danger.
“S-Sarah, she’s…she’s the girl from the restaurant. The one who kept staring at us, she was fired because of us,” Harry whispered, his voice trembling with realization.
Sarah’s eyes widened in horror as the pieces fell into place. “Oh my god, Harry. She’s…she’s a disgruntled employee?” The couple realized that she didn’t forget about them not leaving her a tip.
Calling Back Up

The woman’s pleas grew more desperate, her voice bordering on hysteria. Harry’s heart pounded in his ears as he struggled to think of a solution, his mind clouded with fear and uncertainty.
“Harry, what do we do?” Sarah asked, her voice shaking with fear. Her hand was ready to dial 911.
With a sinking feeling, Harry’s eyes widened in recognition as he scrutinized the woman’s face. “I remember her from the restaurant. But she changed her hair color. She’s back for revenge.”
Pants Down

Panic surged through Sarah as she realized the gravity of the situation. Before they could react, the woman’s actions turned erratic.
Fear flickered in Sarah’s eyes as Harry dialed the company, desperation creeping into his voice. But before any resolution could be reached, the situation took a disturbing turn.
With a look of defiance, the woman hurled the food onto the pavement, a grim testament to her unraveling state of mind. She was provoking them to come outside.
In Front Of Everyone

In a fit of desperation, she threw the food onto the pavement, the sound of shattering containers echoing through the night.
To their horror, she proceeded to relieve herself in their garden, heedless of their protests. Right there in the middle of the petunias.
Disbelief washed over the couple as the woman brazenly relieved herself in their garden. The sanctity of their home had been violated, leaving them reeling in shock and disbelief.
Funny Business

The rude woman shook herself off and marched back to her car without looking back. Sarah and Harry were left to pick up the pieces.
Frantic, Harry dialed the delivery company, his voice urgent as he recounted the surreal ordeal unfolding on their doorstep.
But by the time help arrived, the woman had vanished into the night, leaving behind a trail of chaos and disbelief. They were so embarrassed that they wanted to move house.
Some People

Sarah and Harry stood in stunned silence, the events of the evening leaving them shaken to the core. As they set about cleaning their front porch, they couldn’t shake the lingering sense of vulnerability that clung to them like a shadow.
They couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched, haunted by the memory of the unsettling encounter that had shattered their sense of security.
Paul was furious as he tried to scrub the pavement, “The yellow turmeric stain won’t come out,” he said, throwing the broom down. Sarah told him to just leave it in the rain.
A Complaint

Frustrated and hungry, the couple contacted Fast Food For You to complain. It took some time to get through to the manager.
The manager, Henrique, answered. “Thank you for calling. We’ve been worried about Melissa. She didn’t come back to work,” he said, relief evident in his voice.
He went on to explain, “Honestly, she’s been a difficult employee. We’ll reimburse you for your meal.” Harry and Sarah exchanged uneasy glances.
A Good Business

With the promise of a refund, Harry and Sarah should have felt satisfied, but the encounter left them uneasy. They felt that Melissa had personally attacked them.
They couldn’t shake the image of Melissa’s distressed face. Out of curiosity, they decided to look her up on social media.
There were a few girls with the same name and surname. But Sarah couldn’t forget what her face looked like. It didn’t take long to find her profile, and what they saw tugged at their hearts.
For A Reason

After their conversation with Henrique, Sarah couldn’t shake a feeling of guilt. “I wonder what happened to Melissa,” she said thoughtfully.
Harry, too, felt a twinge of remorse. “Maybe we should try to find her,” he suggested. They turned to social media, scouring various platforms until they finally found Melissa’s profile.
As they scrolled through her photo album, they saw that she was the eldest of three children and her mom was going through chemotherapy.
A Hard Life

Melissa’s posts painted a picture of a woman struggling to make ends meet. Photos of her cramped apartment, her sickly mother, and heartfelt messages about her financial woes filled the screen.
“Harry, look at this,” Sarah whispered, showing him the phone. “She’s really going through a tough time.”
The concerned couple decided to pay her a visit. Their curiosity led them to Melissa’s home in a lower-class neighborhood.
Let’s Do Something

The couple was taken aback by the rundown appearance of the house. “She must be going through hard times,” Sarah whispered, her heart aching at the sight.
Peering through a window, they saw glimpses of a sparse, cluttered interior, confirming their suspicions about her financial struggles.
Moved by the scene before them, Harry and Sarah decided to leave a $100 bill on Melissa’s door. “It’s not much, but hopefully it’ll help,” Sarah said, pressing the bill to the door with a piece of tape.
A Visit

Moved by compassion, they devised a plan. They found her address and drove to her apartment, a dilapidated building in a run-down part of town.
They taped a $100 bill to her door, hoping it would make a small difference. “Let’s leave quickly,” Sarah urged, her heart racing with the thrill of their anonymous goodwill.
They rang the doorbell and dashed away, hiding around the corner. From their hiding spot, they saw Melissa open the door. Would she take the money?
A Surprise Gift

From a safe distance, they watched as Melissa opened her door and found the money. She looked around to see who left it there.
Melissa’s eyes widened in surprise when she saw the money. A smile spread across her face, a rare moment of joy in what seemed like a series of hardships.
Harry and Sarah watched, feeling a mixture of relief and satisfaction. “I hope this makes things a little easier for her,” Sarah said quietly.
Good People

Melissa stood on the porch and called out, but the couple didn’t want to reveal themselves. She looked around in surprise, then broke into a relieved smile.
Harry and Sarah exchanged a glance, feeling a mix of relief and sadness. “I hope this helps her,” Sarah said softly. “I hope she gets a break.”
Just then, her baby brother ran outside and she picked him up and spun him around. She actually looked pretty when she smiled.
Calling It Even

As they drove home, Harry couldn’t help but reflect on the day’s events. “We did the right thing,” he said, glancing at Sarah.
She nodded in agreement. “Everyone has their struggles. I’m glad we could help, even if it was just a little,” she replied. They both felt a sense of peace wash over them.
As the couple drove home, they laughed at how a food order could go so wrong. They decided to change their delivery company anyway.
Sharing Is Caring

In the following days, Harry and Sarah often thought about Melissa. They never expected to see her again, but the experience had changed them.
They were more aware of the struggles that others might be facing and were more compassionate and understanding. “Sometimes, it’s the small acts of kindness that make a big difference,” Sarah mused one evening.
The ordeal with their food order had started as a frustrating inconvenience but had turned into a lesson in empathy and generosity. The couple had found a new perspective on life, one that emphasized the importance of kindness and understanding. And as they moved forward, they carried that lesson with them, grateful for the unexpected turn their night had taken.
