Man Thinks Woman Is Home Alone And Breaks Into Her Home, Gets Taught Valuable Lesson

A Crash

Alexis was sitting on her couch, wondering what she was going to do with her Saturday free time. She considered walking her dog and then watching her favorite series. But that’s when she heard a crash.

The girl jumped up and turned around. But she saw something that no one living alone ever wanted to see. There were two men in her house, and their intentions were less than kind.

Running To The Door

Alexis rushed to her bedroom door and slammed it shut.

The girl was terrified and looked for any way to escape the situation she was in. She knew the wooden door wouldn’t last for long.

Just as she contemplated her next move, she heard something that made dread creep up her spine. Something was bashing the door from the other side. Was this really the end?

Didn’t Want To Hurt Anyone

The terrified girl never wanted to hurt anyone, but she was being put in a difficult situation.

She felt sorry for the criminals desperate enough to break into her house. They didn’t know about the ace up her sleeve.

She really didn’t want to have to do it, but what other choice did they give her? At the end of the day, it was them or her.

Pursing Her Lips

The door started cracking under the force behind it. If she didn’t do something in the next few seconds, who knew what would happen to her? She decided to do the only thing she could.

She pursed her lips together and whistled. The slumbering animal in her backyard was in a deep sleep until Alexis’ signal woke him up. The crooks were in trouble now.

Coming For Them

The dog sprinted out of his kennel and made his way to his owner’s bedroom window. As soon as he saw the petrified girl through the window, he knew what to do. Meanwhile, Alexis was wondering what was going to happen next.

That’s when she heard a loud crash. She closed her eyes but then realized it wasn’t the door. Her dog had jumped straight through the window and was now by her side.

One Word

Just having him there made her feel powerful. She now had the upper hand on the villains that wanted to cause her harm. The door was about to give way, and she knew exactly what to do.

She turned to her dog and said one fateful word. It was the command her father told her to say in case of an emergency. But she was warned that she couldn’t take it back once she’d set him loose.

Frenzy

She watched in horror as her dog changed into something out of a horror movie. He started snarling, but not at her. The door had just swung open, and the crooks were coming in.

But then they locked eyes with the frenzied beast that Alexis had awakened. The dog went straight for the kill, and the men who just a moment ago wanted to harm a vulnerable girl would regret ever coming to the house.

Alexis Thomas

Alexis Thomas was like most young women. She hated the Arizona heat but otherwise loved her city. She grew up in Tucson her whole life and never thought about moving away.

Her whole life was in Tucson, and she would never give that up. There was one big reason why she was tied to the city. It all had to do with her father.

Only Child

Alexis was an only child, which meant all of her father’s attention went to her. He loved her to bits and always protected her. But he had other obligations, too. He had to protect the entire city.

Roger, Alexis’ dad, was a police officer who worked long and hard hours to make sure that the city his family lived in was a safe place. But even though he could always take out the bad guys, there was one thing he couldn’t beat – illness.

Illness

One day, Roger passed out for seemingly no reason. He was rushed to the hospital and examined. But unfortunately, it was the worst-case scenario. His results came back, and there was nothing that could be done.

Roger had been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. He only had a few months left to live, but he wouldn’t be leaving Alexis completely alone.

Some Phone Calls

Roger wasn’t afraid of dying, but he hated the thought of leaving his daughter in the world all alone. He made some phone calls and organized something that caught her by complete surprise.

Alexis was still devastated by the news and tried her best to comfort her father in his last few months on earth.

Laid To Rest

A few months later, Roger passed away. He was at peace knowing that he had set something special up for his daughter. Alexis was none the wiser and, after laying him to rest, headed home.

She inherited his house, but it felt empty without him. Then she heard a knock on the front door. Who could it have been?

His Partner

Alexis opened the door and breathed a sigh of relief. It was her father’s old partner.

She had just seen him at the funeral, but what did he want now? Then she noticed something behind the cop.

She saw gray fur and a large grin with a tongue hanging out. She bent down on one knee and petted the animal, “Who is this cutie?” she asked the cop, but she wasn’t ready for the answer.

Another Partner

“He’s your dad’s other partner,” the cop said with a smile. “But he’s gonna be retired now. Your dad called in a few favors back at the station and wanted someone close to him keeping an eye on you.”

Alexis’ eyes went wild. “What do you mean?” she asked. The cop replied, “I mean that he’s gonna stay with you from now on. I even have a note from your dad.”

Greymont

Alexis thanked the cop as he walked back to his cruiser. He couldn’t stay long, and Alexis needed time to be alone anyway. She called the dog in and looked at his tag. His name was Greymont.

She felt comforted to have someone who worked with her dad every day. But it was time to open the letter.

A Tear-Stained Letter

Alexis opened up the letter and started reading through it. But it wasn’t long before the tears started dropping on the paper. It was one last heartfelt note from her dad.

He told her that he was proud of her and that she would be okay without him. He then explained that Greymont would keep her safe and, if she was ever in trouble, to say one word. But she had to be very careful. Once she said it, there was no taking it back.

Moving On

Alexis clutched the note to her chest and wept. She felt like she finally had closure and would be able to move on. She’d never forget her dad or all the things he taught her.

Over the next few months, she got used to living with an animal. She enjoyed the company of the dog but always wondered if she needed that layer of protection. She always felt safe at home until one day.

One Night

It wasn’t until one evening, a few months after her father passed away, that something strange happened. Greymont was lying by her feet on the floor while she watched television before bed.

It was dark out, and she was quite tired. All seemed fine until the dog suddenly raised his head toward a nearby window.

A Safe Place

Alexis had never been the type to close her curtains at night. With her dad keeping the city safe, she never saw the point. Nothing bad had ever happened to her before.

But now, her father was gone. He was no longer there to get rid of the bad guys. At first, Alexis didn’t think much of the dog’s sudden movement. She assumed he’d heard a rat of an owl outside. But she was wrong.

Unease in the Darkness

However, as the minutes passed, Greymont’s growls grew louder, more menacing. Alexis could feel a sense of unease spreading through the room, and a shiver ran down her spine.

She tried to dismiss her fears, telling herself it was just her imagination playing tricks on her in the darkness. But Alexis was oblivious to what was really going on.

Hearing Something

But then, she heard something, although she couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was. By now, her heart was pounding. Was it just the wind?

She looked around the house, noticing that Greymont had heard something as well. She didn’t want to panic just yet. She would just be scaring herself and the dog, and there was no use in that.

Whispers in the Shadows

As Alexis strained her ears to listen more closely, the sound became clearer. It was a soft, almost imperceptible whisper, like distant voices carried on the breeze. Her heart raced as she realized that there was someone outside lurking in the shadows.

Greymont had now risen to his feet, his hackles raised, and a low, guttural growl emanating from deep within him. He moved toward the window, his eyes fixed on the darkness beyond.

It’s Nothing

“No boy, down. It’s nothing. It’s just the TV,” Alexis said as softly as she could. She definitely heard some whispers, but she hoped it was the TV.

She was sweating profusely now, and Greymont was very restless. She looked around again. Surely someone wouldn’t want to come into her house while the lights were still on, right?

Very Anxious

It was like Alexis was trying to convince herself of this. But she could clearly see Greymont looking very anxious.

Something was very wrong, and the dog knew it. He was trained to smell danger from a mile away. Alexis just had to trust him. But maybe he was wrong this time. Maybe he just heard the TV, she thought.

Acting Up

But that changed when she suddenly heard the low growls coming from the back of his throat. He sat up, anxiously staring at the window. She had no idea what had gotten into him.

“Hey, boy. Sit, come on, sit,” she said calmly, wanting to finish an episode of her show before it was time for bed. But he wasn’t listening. Instead, he got up to walk closer to the window.

Confusion

She was beyond confused as she paused the television and got up from her seat. “Hey, what’s it? What’s up?” she cooed at the dog, whose eyes were set on something outside the window.

She shook her head and walked closer to it. But as she reached to close the window, she noticed a sudden movement in the bushes right outside.

He Refused

She tried to take a closer look, but it was too dark out. She assumed it was some kind of animal and decided to close the window, hoping that it would calm Greymont down.

But Greymont refused to move away from the window. He jumped up on the windowsill with his two front paws and whined as he looked out into the yard, desperately trying to get her to look again.

Not The Case

“Greymont, stop,” she laughed, assuming that he wanted to hunt the animal. But that was not the case.

As she walked him back to the couch, she noticed the uncertainty in his steps. She ordered him to sit, and he complied. She had no idea that two men had been looking into her home, trying to find a way in.

A Normal Day

It was the next day, and Alexis was at work. For some reason, that day, she couldn’t stop thinking about her father. Even though she was doing better, she’d still visit her mother and father at the cemetery.

She was paying her respects to them with Greymont right by her side. She had completely forgotten about what had happened the night before.

The Weekend

That weekend was the first weekend in weeks that she didn’t have to work. She looked forward to being able to recharge and find fun things to do. But she had no idea what was coming.

While Alexis was looking forward to the weekend, someone else was watching from the shadows. They had seen her on the beautiful property all on her own, and they saw an opportunity.

A New Day

Before she knew it, the weekend had started. That Saturday morning, Alexis awoke with a smile on her face. It was a beautiful day outside, and she couldn’t wait to spend her time relaxing.

It was the first time in months that she felt genuinely happy. Greymont was outside as he lay in his kennel while she got herself ready for the day ahead.

Wondering What To Do

Alexis was sitting on her couch, wondering what she was going to do with her Saturday free time. She considered walking her dog and then watching her favorite series. But that’s when she heard a crash.

The girl jumped up and turned around. But she saw something that no one living alone ever wanted to see. There were two men in her house, and their intentions were less than kind.

Frozen in Fear

Alexis’s heart pounded in her chest as she stood frozen as she spotted the two intruders. They were tall, menacing figures wearing dark masks that concealed their faces. One of them held a crowbar, while the other had a menacing glint in his eyes.

She knew she had to act quickly, but fear had paralyzed her for a moment. Greymont, sensing his owner’s distress, began to growl lowly from his kennel outside. His protective instincts kicked in, and he desperately wanted to come to Alexis’s aid.

Desperate Escape

The intruders took a step closer, and that’s when Alexis snapped out of her shock-induced stupor. She realized that she had to get out of there and find help.

She had never been in a situation like this before, but she always remembered what her father had taught her. Would the skills he taught be enough to defeat the intruders?

They’re Inside

But they were already inside and hadn’t noticed her yet as she quickly hid behind her couch, trying not to make a sound. She masked her heavy breathing with her hands, hoping they wouldn’t catch a glimpse of her crouching in fear.

She heard them shuffling through the house. They probably thought no one was home.

Making A Decision

How was she going to get out of there? They were going through her belongings, and it was making her very furious. She felt violated, and she hated them for intruding into her personal space.

She heard glass items breaking as they continued scouring through her house. It was then that she made the decision.

Staying

She was not going to let them win. This was her house and her belongings. They had no right to be in there taking what wasn’t theirs.

She was going to stay and fight for her house. But there were two of them, and there was no way she could fight them on her own. Unless she had help.

Terrified

Her heart dropped as she looked up at the masked figures. They were tall and muscular. Alexis instantly knew that she could not win a fight against the two of them.

Her blood ran cold, and her heart dropped. She instantly knew what she had to do. She threw her things on the floor and got up from behind the couch. Suddenly, she was terrified.

Slamming The Door

Alexis rushed to her bedroom door and slammed it shut. The girl was terrified and looked for any way to escape the situation she was in. She knew the wooden door wouldn’t last for long.

Just as she contemplated her next move, she heard something that made dread creep up her spine. The men were bashing the door from the other side. Was this really the end?

A Way Out

Tears began to stream down the girl’s face as she looked around her room, desperate for some way out. She feared what the men would do once they got to her.

They were slamming their shoulders into the door, trying to get it to give way under their weight. Alexis’s heart was racing in her chest. She had never been so scared before in her life. Why would they do this?

A Plan

But as she ran around her room, looking for something to defend herself with, she thought of something. She glanced at the door. It was starting to cave in. If she didn’t act fast, it would all be over.

The men were shouting on the other side of the door, telling her to open up. She had a plan in mind.

Terrified

The terrified girl never wanted to hurt anyone, but she was being put in a difficult situation. She felt sorry for the criminals desperate enough to break into her house. They didn’t know about the ace up her sleeve.

She really didn’t want to have to do it, but what other choice did they give her? At the end of the day, it was them or her.

Greymont

Walking toward the window, she glanced out the yard. Greymont was in his kennel, sleeping soundly. He was completely unaware of the danger inside the house.

Alexis tried to call for him, but from where she stood, he couldn’t hear her. She called his name in a shaky voice once again, but the sound of the wind in the trees completely drowned her out.

Agitated Animal

The door started cracking under the force behind it. If she didn’t do something in the next few seconds, who knew what would happen to her? She decided to do the only thing she could.

She pursed her lips together and whistled. The agitated animal in her backyard seemed ready when Alexis gave him the signal. The crooks were in trouble now.

By Her Side

The dog sprinted out of his kennel and made his way to his owner’s bedroom window. As soon as he saw the petrified girl through the window, he knew what to do.

He ran around the house, trying to find a way in. He began panicking. From where he was running, he could hear his owner crying and begging for help.

Was It Enough?

He made his way back to her window and looked through it. Meanwhile, Alexis was wondering what was going to happen next. She wondered if this would be enough to scare them off.

That’s when she heard a loud crash. She closed her eyes but then realized it wasn’t the door. Her dog had jumped straight through the window and was now by her side.

Feeling Powerful

Just having him there made her feel powerful. She now had the upper hand on the villains that wanted to cause her harm. The door was about to give up, and she knew exactly what to do.

She thought of the day he was given to her. When her father’s partner told her the secret word, she never thought she would have to use it. She never thought anything like this would happen.

The Word

Just then, she heard a loud bang. One man’s first had finally punched through the door. She had to act right away. She was second away from danger.

She turned to her dog and said one fateful word. It was the command her father told her to say in case of an emergency. But she was warned that she couldn’t take it back once she’d set him loose.

Regretting Everything

She watched in horror as her dog changed into something out of a horror movie. He started snarling, but not at her. The door had just swung open, and the crooks were coming in.

But then they locked eyes with the frenzied beast that Alexis had awakened. The dog went straight for the kill, and the men who just a moment ago wanted to harm a vulnerable girl would regret ever coming to the house.

Charging Forward

The once gentle Greymont charged forward towards Alexis’ attackers. The man’s eyes went wide as they realized their mistake. The gray pitbull made noises that Alexis had never heard about before.

Even though she was scared of him, his fury wasn’t directed at her. It was directed at her attackers.

Fighting Back

With a speed and ferocity that was astonishing, Greymont lunged at the intruders. His powerful jaws clamped down on one of the men’s arms, causing him to scream in agony.

The other intruder fumbled for a weapon, but before he could react, Greymont had already tackled him to the ground. Alexis watched in a mixture of shock and awe as her gentle companion transformed into a relentless defender.

The Tables Turned

The room was filled with chaos as the intruders desperately tried to fend off the enraged dog. Greymont’s growls and barks echoed through the house, drowning out the sounds of struggle.

One of the men managed to pull out a knife, but even that wasn’t enough to deter Greymont. With a quick and calculated move, the dog lunged at the man’s hand, causing him to drop the weapon in pain.

Desperation

Alexis had never seen anything like it. The intruders, who had initially appeared so threatening, were now in a state of desperation. One was nursing a bleeding arm, while the other was struggling to keep the dog at bay.

But Greymont wasn’t giving up. He circled his adversaries, ready to pounce at the slightest provocation. It was a standoff that no one could have predicted.

Escape

As the intruders continued to battle Greymont, Alexis saw an opportunity to escape. She knew she couldn’t rely solely on her loyal dog to handle the situation.

With trembling hands, she reached for her phone and dialed 911. Her voice quivered as she explained the situation to the operator, who assured her that help was on the way.

An Agonizing Wait

It was an agonizing wait as Alexis’ heart was now pounding so fast that she thought it would jump out of her chest any minute.

This was not how she had imagined spending her evening. But she was grateful that she had Greymont with her. She couldn’t imagine what would have happened if she was alone.

On Their Tracks

The men tried to run away, but Greymont wouldn’t allow that. Stumbling out of her room, the men were followed by the pitbull, who was growling and barking as he looked at them.

Biting into the leg of one man’s jeans, Alexis watched as he tumbled down to the floor, screaming as he begged for the dog to let him go. He was hysterical as he writhed around on the floor.

If They Got Away With It

Alexis ran after them, screaming for them to get out of her house. One man helped the other up from the floor before they made their way back to the window they had come through.

But Alexis feared what would happen if they left and got away with it. Would they come back and take care of Greymont first? She was still afraid.

Running For It

The two men were planning on doing something terrible. But now they found out what happened when they tried to mess with the wrong girl.

They didn’t get far. With Alexis’ alarm system going off, Roger’s old partner was waiting outside with his gun drawn. The men surrendered, and he took them away.

The Word

Later, the cop came back to check on Alexis. He had never seen men so terrified before. He asked her what she had to do to make them run like that.

Then she explained the note from her dad. The kill command that he had told her in secret. The cop laughed and told her that “kämpfen” meant “fight” in German.

Never Again

He had been trained by Roger to protect anyone when the word was said. She made sure never to use it again unless she would have to.

From that day on, she was grateful to have her protective companion by her side.

She knew that as long as Greymont was around, she was safe. Just like when her father was around.
